I want to (But if I do, you will just tear my heart apart)
I want to be the one you run to
I want to be the one to hold you
I want to be the one to see you smile
I want to be the shoulder to cry on
So in order to do so
I ask you “will you be my girl,
Will you be there with me?
I know your heart is full of holes
From mistakes made in the past
I want to be the one to catch your tears
I want to be the one to comfort you in all the bad and sad times
I want to be there with you for all the bad times, the good times and
All the sad times and the happy times
So I got a proposition for you
Will you be my girl?
Will you be there with me?
I know your heart is fragile from all those
Times it was broken
It may be hard to believe
But I will never do that to you
I want to be the one you tell your problems to
I want to be the one to catch when you fall
I want to be the one to die with you
I want to be the one you say “I love you”
So I ask you now
Will be my girl,
Will you be there for me?
Will you say you love me too?
I know you are just protecting your heart
So I guess I shall protect mine
If I don’t you might tear me apart
Tear me apart and leave me for nothing
I might not be able to survive without you.
