I'm Not Over You
I’m not over you
No matter what I do
I can say I hate you
But we both know that’s not true
I may scoff when I see you
Just trying to prove,
That I can lie to myself
Cause when I see you
I have to catch my breath
Wish I’d felt that way before
You never know what you’ve had
Until it’s walking out your front door
Looking out the window
All I see is rain
Looking at my heart
All I see is pain
And I could beg you
To return again
But then again,
I’m too proud for that
So when I see you
I just laugh
I smile though I’m blue
Cause I ain’t with you
And I know I’m young
And this is trivial
Even though the love may have been fake
My pain is real.
