Storm of Sorrows
Cause when the rain
Comes down and washes all the pain
I'm being swept up
In the downpour, I'll never be the same again
And when the wind
Blows away all the hatred deep in my soul
I am caught
In the whirlwind, I'm swirling, never to be a whole
I used to see the sun in everything
Even when the moon rises in the evening
Never did I stray from the positive
Till she broke my heart and shattered it
A million pieces of glass littering the floor
Cuting me up when I walk to the door
I just can't seem to walk away
Without losing myself to shame
And I must have gone blind
Cause I see in her eyes, crocodile tears
And it stops me to say
Don't be so persuade, to leave me here
Cause when the rain
Comes down and washes all the pain
I'm being swept up
In the downpour, I'll never be the same again
And when the wind
Blows away all the hatred deep in my soul
I am caught
In the whirlwind, I'm swirling, never to be a whole
So I stuck with the lies
Watching time go by
And becoming desensitized
To her wicked disguise
She took my house
and took my check
She took my heart
Right out my chest
I can't stand to be here
But she won't let me leave, yeah
I'm stuck in a neverending storm of anguish
Cause when the rain
Comes down and washes all the pain
I'm being swept up
In the downpour, I'll never be the same again
And when the wind
Blows away all the hatred deep in my soul
I am caught
In the whirlwind, I'm swirling, never to be a whole
One day the clouds will break
And the sun will reappear
And my past will never haunt me
Yeah that harpie will disappear
But until then I'm bracing
Myself for the war
That is brooding
Right outside of that door
That I can't leave
Till I get off the floor
With that glass and
I can't take anymore
Cause when the rain
Comes down and washes all the pain
I'm being swept up
In the downpour, I'll never be the same again
And when the wind
Blows away all the hatred deep in my soul
I am caught
In the whirlwind, I'm swirling, never to be a whole
