Running in The Rain
I walked into the room
As if it was all brand new
In with me came the new assumed gloom
I’ve been immune to the world without you
I believe it approached too soon
And I went running down the driveway
Right in the rain
Running from my troubles
As if there was anything to gain
The water froze my skin
But I liked the pain
And it felt right to be
Running in the rain
Oh the rain
I stilled wished it would’ve ended soon
Our love felt so true
I know I started it honey
I really am sorry
But I went running down the driveway
Right in the rain
Running from my troubles
As if there was anything to gain
The water froze my skin
But I liked the pain
And it felt right to be
Running in the rain
Oh the rain, the rain, the rain
I thought I could run away
From the fall
I wanted to run away
From it all
I still go running down the driveway
Right in the rain
Running from my troubles
As if there is anything to gain
The water still freezes my skin
But I like the pain
And it feels so right to be
Running in the rain
Oh the rain
The rain, rain, rain, rain, rain
Running in the rain
And it feels so right
Running… In… The rain
