I Think I Found You in the Stars
I think I found you in the stars,
Sleeping on a silver pillow.
Floating in the vacuum of brightly peppered space,
dancing in the glow.
I think I found you in the sea,
Swimming with the coral.
Porcelain and still with the starfish in the depths,
bathing in the tide.
I think I found you in the trees,
Carved deep into the bark.
Sitting among the leaves in the deep forest,
listening to the whir.
I’m glad that I was looking,
Searching for a sign.
Smiling in the joy,
thanking you forever.
