Tales Of A Chipping Nightstand
I ain't got much to my name
Nothing that can buy me a diamond ring
And save from realization
That life is more than games and daisy chains
Confusion stands where the moose should be
Hanging over my mantelpiece
Locked arm in arm with what I thought was my new found glory
A trashed apartment near the city
holds my life together loosely
stitching my few responsibilites together piece by piece
The night stand next to me tells the story
slowly but surely waking up in the morning
Not alone but pretty lonely
the way its grown to be
