Children of the night
We always called
upon the shadows
But in this light
they dare not follow
Born of moon light
Not of sunshine
We raise our heads
and give a war cry
Troubles shake us
From the ground
A cry goes out
To call us now
Children children
Of the night
Deliver us from
Evil's plight
Brought up from
the darkest gaze
We lay our lives
To our dying days
We always lay
beneath the stars
Nothing blinds us
We can hide our scars
Like young wolves
We could sit and howl
But like assassins
Hide under cowl
Raise your heads
if midnights ride
Grabbed your soul
And brought you
to our side
Children children
Of the night
Deliver us from
Evil's plight
Brought up from
the darkest gaze
We lay our lives
To our dying days
