Catching Razor Blades
I've been
Asking myself why
I find it harder to breath
At night
When it hurts most
I'm haunted by my ghosts
That say
don't worry
Just wait for the light
Of day
And I begin to think
I'm forever scared
By these marks
That tell me I'll never be
Somebody
That can be loved
I'm just damned
And I don't understand
Why these marks
Don't ever heal
Because they're made
by the marks of a razor blade
I need
Some time by myself
Nobody all alone
Facing the rathe
Of a thousand kings
That all make me wanna bleed
Saying please
Just do it for me
Do it for what you'll never be
And I begin to think
I'm forever scared
By these marks
That tell me I'll never be
Somebody
That can be loved
I'm just damned
And I don't understand
Why these marks
Don't ever heal
Because they're made
by the marks of a razor blade
And you would've thought
I would've bled out
But your picture kept it in
And now I really see
What these marks do to me
But they never heal
I'm forever scared
By these marks
That tell me I'll never be
Somebody
That can be loved
I'm just damned
And I don't understand
Why these marks
Don't ever heal
Because they're made
by the marks of a razor blade
