To each his own seems to be our motto
and since this is the case
I wish the aliens would come attack us today.
Because only then would we unite as one world,
instead of being separated by our own
governments, prejudices, religions, and races.

My arms hang from my torso.
Like limp limbs on dead willow trees.
The time has come for me to go..
Lifted away with the breeze.

Hello Ana on this day,
What can I do for you today?
Of course, not eat, and shrink my size.
I am judged based on my thighs.

My eyes are sopping and
Have excess tears,
What've I've been doing
For all these years??

Hello Ana on this eve
What are you doing on your knees?
I've fallen, now
Right off my feet.

Thigh gap, hip bones, collarbones too,
I want to be thin,
What else can you do?
Just stop eating-to begin.

Hello Ana, on this day.
What else can I do to lose some weight?
"Run, run fast. Don't look back.
Run away, or the world will attack.

The first three pounds
We're hard at first.
I was so round,
That my heart might burst.

Hello Ana, hello Ana.
Are you there ? They found out..
I fought for you, now I'm out,
Of cards to play.
There really is in other way.
I'm out of luck,
They think I'm stuck.
I have to go, but I won't give up.

The world once told me that I was fat.
My friend Ana said she fix fix that.
Being thin got me ahead in life,
Now I'm alone and dead in strife.

Even Ana wanted me gone,
She was in me all along.

About overcoming anorexia. Or dying from it. It's always a choice, a difficult one that many feel they cannot choose.
