Verse 1:
Everything I do turns to dust,
Stop staring at me with lust,
I can not breathe,
Hold my hand, help me get through the gold road,
Constant grief runs my soul,
I touch your hand softly,
Trying to hold the tears back,
And he said,
“Rain is falling down your face,”
“Your face is covered with disgrace,”
I’m sorry I say looking away,
Secrets are sealed thats the way it will be,
Chorus:
Tears keep falling down,
They cover the whole ground,
I cry as he stares me down,
And then he said,
“You don’t have to hide anything by me”
I’ll always be here no matter the grief,
And when I went home,
He surprised me,
He was on the steps,
I was crying,
Took me by the arms,
Told me it would all be okay,
Just stay will me he said softly,
Verse 2:
Face went numb as I stared in to his eyes,
Rain kept falling down,
Tears were rounding,
I look on the ground,
I smile slipped out,
He looks again,
So what do you say?
He looks at me waiting miserably,
I laugh in happy,
Okay.
