Beautiful
Your voice paralyzes me,
Your laughter brings warmth to my heart
With one word you can blow my soul all around the world
Or tear it completely apart
Your smile on your beautiful face,
Is the one thing I look forward to every day.
I know you love watching shooting stars,
I know you love driving shiny cars,
Almost as much as I love being with you.
I love how you count
Every rainbow you see,
I love that you will defend me
But cannot feel the same way.
You're too beautiful
For a dark shadow such as I.
I miss the laughter,
The kisses, your voice
You would be right beside me if it were my choice
You are the sun and I am a burden
If I get to close I will be burned
But if I distance myself
You'll disappear
Right before my eyes when I look into the mirror
And I never want you to go.
You're too beautiful, too briliant, too grand for me
And I can't ever have you, see.
As I've wrapped my arms around you thousands of times
I know that not in a thousand years could I ever make you mine
You're too perfect for my secrets and flaws.
Too beautiful for my hideous faults.
