Melody In My Heart

Love, an undescribable word. Even in a song I can't explain it in a verse. All these things that people say in movies, I got it but it doesn't stick to me. I wish I could've learned before I fell down. But I can't find the cure for the love I haven't found. All these fake lovers knocking on my door. Offering something that I'm not all for. It's not real if you're not the crashing waves on my shore, the beat in my heart. And I can't be sure unless you're the footprints in my sand, the words on my page, and the melody in my heart.

My friend and I decided to co-write a song together and we came up with this piece, Melody In My Heart. It's a song about someone wanting to find real love but it's hard with people offering love to them but not really meaning what they say.
