Ocean Waves
Your heart beat are like ocean waves crashing into my chest.
Your conversations are just another voice in my head.
Holding your hand is grasping onto the empty air,
And I want to be the chill up your spine, but somebody’s hand is already their.
I want my hands to guide around your hips,
But I can’t talk to you when you have interlocked lips.
I watch from the open crowd,
But you don’t even bother to read the words floating from my mouth.
You can walk through me and only forget,
But that doesn’t mean you won’t feel my chilling breath.
