I want a man that treats me right
life isn’t always what it seems,
sometimes you’re content,
sometimes you’re sad,
sometimes you just don’t know how to feel,
and is this love even real,
I realized I wanted more out of life,
I told my prince,
he called me names,
said drama was my middle name,
but I won’t stop fighting for a man who treats me right,
I deserve,
I deserve
A man,
that treats me right,
and hugs me under the moonlight.
chorus:
I don’t care about looks,
I don’t care about smarts,
What I want out of love,
is a man,
that treats me right,
I just want a guy who cares about my life
doesn’t care about my exes,
he just treats me right,
that’s my ideal man,
not a guy that blames me,
and calls me names when i say it’s over
Dear future guy,
I beg of you,
Treat me right,
Treat my future children right,
I want a sweet man for my kids,
rich or poor,
attractive or not,
smart or dumb,
if they love them I will love them too,
but every girl needs,
a man,
that will always treat her right.
I hurt too,
Just as much as you,
Life hurts like nails on a chalkboard,
Our love,
it hurt me,
but not because we were over,
all the flames you threw at me,
when I said I needed space,
they still burn,
there is still a scar,
on my bleeding heart,
from where you threw insults at me,
to hurt me,
you threw a boulder of my insecurities right at me.
chorus:
I don’t care about looks,
I don’t care about smarts,
What I want out of love,
is a man,
that treats me right,
I just want a guy who cares about my life
doesn’t care about my exes,
he just treats me right,
that’s my ideal man,
not a guy that blames me,
and calls me names when i say it’s over
Dear future guy,
I beg of you,
Treat me right,
Treat my future children right,
I want a sweet man for my kids,
rich or poor,
attractive or not,
smart or dumb,
if they love them I will love them too,
but every girl needs,
a man,
that will always treat her right.
