Forgotten
I wonder if you remember when
I knew you, and you knew me
We had to leave each other then
I went far away across the sea
It meant our time was gone, must end
Blown on the wind lost and torn
A break that we might never mend
Missing you and so forlorn
Remember all the fun we had
The places we went, secrets we shared?
If I came back, would you be glad
Or have you forgotten you ever cared?
We grew apart, my great regret
And now it’s like we had never met.
