I prepared for my trip and packed all my gear,

Said my goodbyes and fed my pet toad.

Stopped my mail and then hit the road.

While steering very carefully to avoid hitting a deer,

I noticed a bright light in my rearview mirror.

Hoping the truck would not lose his load,

And then need to be towed.

As an accident would be my worst fear.

At my first stop I gave the waitress a big tip

Because the service was great and I was a big fan.

Back on the road my throat was quite dry so I took a huge sip

And hit a big bump and then bit my lip.

While on my vacation, I spoke with an old man

Who gave me advice and it was a great trip!
