fit for a princess
I miss walking down this yellow brick road,
Leading to places I never thought I’d go
Near by, a gentle blue river brightly glowed
I wondered where it flowed to, now I know.
In this place, colors could tell me stories
Lines to oceans to fruits to hills to shapes
Each and every object showed their glories
All this beauty! It’s hard to close the drapes.
The words that were spoken were like love songs
The garments worn were fit for royalty
This will be where my heart always belongs
Let’s stay, among high class society
Like when Cinderella wore her glass shoes
Oh sweet Paris, you are my dream come true.

Last summer I went to Paris and my experience here completely changed my perspective on art and on the world. Paris was the place that really had the key to open up my heart.
