Birds
Chirping, singing, flying low to the ground,
Rainforest, prairie, there they can be found,
Grabbing worms and bugs for their young
So that, though their journey has just begun
They may fly with the wind over the trees
Over the grass, the hills, over the seas
Due south to the warmth of Florida and
Mexico, Peru, and Hawaii sand
To build a new nest and sing a new song
To wake children up at the break of dawn
And then to come back when winter is done
When the Sun starts to run the roost again
They will come with their family and friend,
And repeat this pattern until their end
