Winter
Bare, empty trees over the horizon
The silent sound of peace and loneliness
Gray skies full of dullness with clouds crying
I sit down with thee always ‘till our ends
Colors full of life and patience all shine
Thy burning cold will always stay with me
Thy gentle kisses on my cheek so fine
No loud crowd, no glower, no one to see
The weather assigned to thee without end
Being misjudged for no reason, no fault.
My heart wishes for thy to stay, to extend.
Each day I find ways to exalt thou more
Although thou may only come once a year
I yearn for thy return my only dear
