In the Woods
The sound of birds chirping in the forest
The sight of the sun shining through the trees
The feeling of being a lone tourist
Joined by the buzzing of bumblebees
I like exploring the woods like a deer
Viewing the beauty of most things around
When covered by darkness, there is fear
Sometimes it is easy to look at the ground
The small pond reflecting the rays of sunshine
The small fish dancing around in the pool
Deep in the dark woods, the coyotes whine
All of them sounding like one giant fool
In the woods, it is always fun to roam
But eventually it is time to go home
