Bike Messenger
“This is my city”, as he swerves through lanes
Biking across bridges and past the stray
Deliver packages for these campaigns
What the people want, they get right away
The streets, the bright lights, the music galore,
with gorgeous feats dawning upon him
He rides with the wind, he cannot ignore,
chasing the address, he stops though, a whim!
Glaring at the beaming darkness outside
The realization of belonging
He continues his journey while teary eyed
With his complete sensation prolonging
Now awaken by his mother downstairs
Out the window, no more city, no cares
