bloom between
Balance your books and boots,
Drench a heart in artsy solitude.
From a bosom careless glee shoots,
Reticence: forever a mood.
Late at night words call,
Early in the day banter soars
In flimsy shelter scabs fall
With the sun rises your oars.
Fingernails crack under feathery fear
They look and you become spongy holes.
At you they forever leer
Yet in words you find few foes.
When night falls and you drive words into the moon
The stars drown their lullabies and await noon.
