Do not recall the past and cringe.

You can fix it. Do not unhinge.

You fixed a part when you had qualms.

You fixed some with uplifted palms.

You’ll fix some parts when they cease to groan.

You’ll fix it all and you’ll atone.

And when you gaze with repentant eyes

I’ll be there standing by your side

With reprievance and smiling wide.

You’ll fix it because I know you’ll try.

Do not recall the past and wince.

You can fix it.

Free your conscience.
