Pouring tears
Pouring tears
In my asylum, lying on the floor
The cold wind gusting through my silk curtains.
Thinking of the fair maiden I adored.
My life is crashing down with grief and burden;
Turning mad every second you’re not here.
Our admirable days have now passed.
In a blink of an eye, you disappeared.
My awful life without you wouldn’t last.
The wind returns-breaching our squeaky door;
Cloaking me in the air of pain and torment.
My despair won't stop, it’s forevermore.
In our sheets embedded with your soft scent.
Wherever I go, you’re always with me;
I’m lost in the past, when will I be free?
Heavily inspired by Edgar Allan Poe
