Epitome of a Broken Heart
You, the epitome of a broken heart
That, my dear friend, is what you seem to be
Though, leading with your head you are quite smart,
But, with your heart, there seems no guarantee.
Although your heart is battered and broken
Your mind, my dear, is as sharp as can be,
And through all the words that you have spoken
The best you have said are aimed towards me
Your heart is filled with generosity
And your mind is so filled with pure knowledge
And your deep sense of curiosity
Makes me want to send you a deep homage
But you, my dear, are great beyond compare
And I can’t thank you more for being there.
