My Love
Two hundred seventy-three days ago,
The first time I laid eyes on you.
I knew I loved you from the first hello,
When my heart instantly grew.
Once a stranger,
Nothing but a name.
Now saves me from life’s danger,
And relights my heart’s flame.
All the joy he brings me,
For he may never know.
I have thoughts that we are meant to be,
And will forever watch each other grow.
Am I silly for feeling this way, maybe,
Or is he the one for me?

I wrote this sonnet about my boyfriend. I believe many teens can relate to this poem.
