The Lady who was Abandoned by her Friends
There was a beautiful lady in blue
And with no people in sight to be seen
She loved animals like she was a zoo
She had birds and squirrels since she was a teen.
the bird tweeted a tone to the lady
she whistled with the bird while tapping her foot
she named the bird from the music, Sadie
Sadie flew into the trees, with some toots.
Lady in blue was upset about Sadie
She still had her squirrel that remains with her
The squirrel ate so much, she named it, fatty
Fatty felt hurt, so she ran in a spur.
The beautiful lady was now alone
The lady heard no peep except her moans.

This poem is based off a Renaissance painting called the Portrait of a lady with a squrriel and a starling by Hand Holbein the Younger. I did this poem for an English assignment and i made it about the loss of someone or an animal that you loved so deeply.
