Not Enjoying

I am writing this poem about school,

I’m not enjoying anything at all,

I long for the summer and the town pool, 

Except FFA, English, and B-ball.

I think I’m doing good in English class,

My teacher is making me do poems,

She said it while drinking tea from her glass,

I’m now researching on some web systems.

I am just tired of school already,

Even though we had two days off for snow,

I just have to keep pushing through steady,

The reason I hate writing is I’m slow.

Tomorrow will be a much better day,

I have to go, the teachers want their pay.
