A storm
As it rains and I walk through the alley.
My life begins to flood - non-stop pouring.
It floods the ditches, it floods the valley's.
Rain and clouds, clouds and rain, always mourning.
Is it possible for the sun to rise?
Will I ever be able to swim out?
I just wish I could look you in the eyes.
When I try to look, all you do is pout.
Still drowning, the rain is getting harder.
Still trying, but nothing goes my way.
But now, my shoes are all filled with water.
And now, I will just let it be this way.
I guess you could say I am done trying.
And I guess you could say I'm still hiding.
