The light you bring to my life
It was you, it was me.
Under stars, through the rain,
The feelings warm me inside.
I am like a fly
In love witha frog.
If my heart was able to speak,
It would let you know,
“You’re the peanut to my butter,
The guac to my taco.”
Around you my heart seems to flutter;
Without you, I’ll be hollow.
The ways you’ve made me grow;
I’m not sure how to let you go.
