My Ex
I knew him well
With his parents, he’s scream & yell
Not a day we didn’t fight
But our love illuminates light
Sleeping in, from night, to noon
Hanging out in his room
Drinking Arizona Tea
Wanting one day a big family
Hunting deer on weekends
Hang out with all our friends
His favorite color blue
Brownies is his favorite food
Born on December 16th
Going to a different school
Wrestling those random fools
Not afraid to wear pink
Proud of his heritage
But terrified of his parents to separate
Than one day- -
Everything changed- -
Hunting all those deer
Turned into sneaking alcohol and beer
Selling and doing weed- -
One weekends partying
Moving out with his friends
Than our relationship ends
Now we don’t even talk- -
This downward spiral he still fell
I thought I knew him well
