Minor Key

I walk by and see you standing all alone;
You own the room, your voice commands the stage.
You have potential – talent you should hone;
Sing out, don’t put your music in a cage
I play, you sing; we make a fine duet.
I want your kiss but you don’t do it.
It’s you I love, this feeling is not new.
I’ve always loved you from the very start;
I know Heaven is true when you I see.
Even though I am yours, I don’t hold your heart,
This song of mine is trapped in minor key.
If you say that you’ll be my melody,
With happy heart I’ll be your harmony!
