"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." -Martin Luther King Jr.

A whisper floated down, over this hill,
As if it was someone’s final, hushed breath;
And though it was soft, I still felt your chill,
Looking into your eyes during Love’s death,
It’s not right, but we have come to our end-
True Love is supposed to last forever-
But this time, you won’t be able to mend
my heart, shattered by your heartless whisper,
Nor my back, stabbed through with your blade of lies.
The simplicity of your words severs me;
Blowing like wind, the last of my soul dies,
Your absent love proves I’ll NEVER be free-
Like heavy fog turned into morning dew,
A dense whisper of “I never loved you…”
