School out, weather’s awesome, it’s time for fun!
I can’t wait to jump in the warm water.
As we leave for the beach we scream “Shotgun!”
We can feel it getting a lot hotter.
The ride to the beach is a real great blast!
Once we got there, it was time for beach ball.
I hate it that the day went by so fast.
We stayed there until we watched the sun fall.
I shower then we go on the boardwalk.
We go out for dinner and socialize.
We scarf down our food while we sit and talk.
The end of summer I don’t realize.
But luckily, it’s a long way till then.
Its summer, no need for pencils or pens.
