Broken
Sorrow and loneliness inside my soul
With nowhere to go and nowhere to run
And day by day it was my heart you stole
Here in the darkness I can’t see the sun
No longer feeling happiness and glee
In the core of my heart my troubles lay
As you wander around cheerful and free
Many words to you I would like to say
And yet no word can express what I felt
The warmth in me as I laid in your arms
As I gazed in your eyes my heart would melt
I fell in love with your grace and your charm
As I sit and ponder what I should do
I realize I must get over you
