My Heart's Condition
Full of love, big and new.
Ready for what life throws at you.
Empty, whole, strong and set.
Although on your sleeve you've seen nothing yet.
First in love, filled with light.
Here comes the darkness, get ready to fight.
Free now owned, they have the key.
Ending sudden, confused you can't see.
Broken, shattered, chipping and weak.
Now it's just love you seek.
Abandoned, used, this love was a game.
Falling into pieces, you'll never feel the same.
Full of scars and wounds only time could heal.
Unaware of this tragic pain you'd feel.
Crushed, worthless, crumbling but now stronger than before.
Maybe I should get up and go right back for more.
