Memories
The cold on a January morning
The frost that blatantly covers the grass
I get up and have to fret the moments
That I can reminisce in last year’s past
Strolling out the door to take a swift walk
Have a song replaying wild through my head
Bringing the low feelings of lengthy talks
Remembering precisely what you said
I frequently remember my hearts pain
I recollect things I shouldn’t have said
I thought of some ill-advised things in vain
Though I know that they’re merely in my head
So, it’s time that I break that single wall
That sadly keeps me thinking of it all
