The bright yellow sun right over my head/
Beat down on me with all of its strength/
At about noon, I finally got out of bed.//
All of mt friends and I walk to the beach./
It's nice and sunny out, we play all day./
There is no school and the teachers don't teach./
We go for a walk on the pretty bay.//
Running around with no care in the world./
Drawing on the sidewalk with lots of chalk./
Then getting in my bed all nice and curled./
Waking up and seeing a guy to stalk.//
I love summer, there's so much I can do./
I want it back so winter better go.//
