Love's Plea
A conflict of what is desired
A torment of so many needs
I can not deny what has transpired
If you want me, plant the seed
Watch us grow forever more
Tell me if this is what you crave
Watch, as we fall from our soar
And send my mirth to the grave
The pain is too much to endure for myself
You can not remain my enemy
Would you place your love upon the shelf
And proclaim our lust a memory?
My love for you exceeds the stars
But yours for me, is behind cold bars.
