I miss you, my sister
I miss you, my love
I miss your loud laughter,
how it rose above.
I miss your sweet smile
and dancing green eyes,
I miss our long boy-talks
and your lovelorn sighs.
I miss our shampoo bottles
standing in line,
I miss your green flip-flops
identical to mine.
I miss seeing your room
and knowing you're there,
I miss the dark nights
when you shared my air.
I miss you, my sister
I miss you, my love
and think of you always
when I see a dove.
