Writer's Block
The worst thing about writer's block
Is not knowing what to say
One can't help to stare at the clock
For time is being wasted away
I mean really, who wants to spend the afternoon brainstorming
And perhaps not even writing a word
But until an idea starts forming

And coming up with rhymes!
Don't get me started!
Grimes and times and chimes rhyme with rhymes
Oh gosh...my mind has departed!
Okay, calm down.
Just think thoughts of thinking
Maybe I should start with a noun
No. I should start rethinking
I should start it like so:
"The worst thing about writer's block"
What an idea! Creativity I show!
My thoughts have been unlocked!
By golly! It's going to work!
My original statement is not worth repeating!
Because the poem that made me irk
Is, simply, the one you are reading
