Bow in her hair
Bow in her hair,
a gleam in her stare,
a smile on her face,
even though she lost the race,
for inside she knows she won,
in life, she had more fun,
for she worked for the king,
of whom she doth sing,
a sweet melody,
that soars above the trees,
into the open sky,
flying way up high,
to greet her father,
who will live with us for longer,
because of that rare,
little girl with the bow in her hair.
