That Boy
There’s a boy leaning up against the wall
His pants are tan, his shirt is black and blue
A moment there I thought I almost knew
That if I am not careful, I might fall
He glanced up from the floor and looked at me
Embarrassed, I am, that he caught me now
I turn away, and my heart starts to pound
I changed my gaze, but looked back carefully
His stare was still on me across the way
He was starting to walk towards the door
I watched him walk on my feelings were tore
The bell rang and everyone left for the day
I walked out the door that he left from too
He was waiting for me to come right through
