Life’s just so easy from your able view--
You float like a feather, worries dismissed.
Naturally gifted, I envy you
Swimming fluently in life’s cruel abyss
You’ve never failed—felt frustration or fear,
You’re a free bird, with great dreams to settle.
So while I stumble through life, bleeding tears
You tangoed through it, boasting a medal.
Sage seeps from your lips like honey from a hive
It is luck that you were given such gifts.
For you, life is a smooth sailing ride--
beautiful without its jagged rifts
So don’t take offense if I find it unjust
That while you win the world, I swim in your dust.
