Passed or Forever
Like autumn blowing away summer’s passions
Time always slips by like the wind
So much just like the changing fashions
How I wish I could keep it pinned
In my hand and never let it go away
But reality is cruel, and time must tick on
All beautiful things will die one day
So will the people – it will all be gone
China’s Loulan Kingdom was destroyed over time
All that’s left is a desert of golden sand
But of its existence, we have still come to find
And learn of its history and the remains of its land
Only history can make things forever last
For to understand our present, we have to know our past
