Desert Dunes
Time seems to twist, to warp, to stretch away
My head is blank yet trying to recall
I walk and cannot find, to my dismay,
The fleeting thoughts that bring me to a wall
My journey's end is hovering so near
But far above, amusement shakes the moons
And never will I reach it I do fear
For memories I seek hide under dunes
The plight I face is daunting in the waves
Of sands that flow, concealing all I chase
I hurry faster, scared of early graves
As time steps on my heels, I start to race
