Unpoken Words
She gathers the remains of the words she can't speak
And throw them down at her blood soaked feet
Running down her legs are blood red tears
She cups some in her hands to take a taste
It was awful and she threw it in the waste
Blood spread along the surface of her tongue
They are the remains of someone else wrongs
They stab holes in her swollen mouth like angry thorns
Her words will never be given life
Before they can come out she takes them and stab them with a knife
She cries and drinks the empty tears of his lies
Letting go of herself she sits down and writes
Her unspoken words with the blood red ink from his heart
A letter that would be her last
