I Wait
I know what lies beneath the heart of life
where friendship lives, and kindness flows with ease
where sadness melts like snow in bright blue skies
I wait for now til life does leave this breeze.
I know there is a place where souls are free
where peace and mirth take place of war and death
where hate will find no place with those released
I wait for now to take my final breath
Though some may not believe in what comes next
Redeeming blood will wash my sins away
Temptation tried but found itself in check
By he, The One, who never went astray
So here I wait for him to come again
So here I wait til second life begins
