Summer Dreams
Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
That would be different for me in my case.
For this sonnet is not meant to be grey,
This is to show you you’ll never be replaced.
Modern day Romeo and Juliet
Separated by grass, not a long feud.
Hopefully those days you’ll never forget
Only those days will always be renewed.
Summer turns to a Midsummer’s Night Dream,
As we fall even more every weekend.
Either hot as flame or cold as ice cream,
Is there someone else I have to contend?
Remember these days as if they were last
Mold it in brass, or protect it in glass.
