Discolored Homage
I stand here shocked at words you chose to say.
I don’t know what turned you to act this way.
I miss the loyal friend you used to be
Before you chased her and abandoned me
You grew addicted to the love she poured
And falsely think you’re very much adored.
This showy fling can’t have the strength to be
What terminated your close company.
You tried three times to win my friendship back
But your sincerity was just an act.
So now I’ll leave without creating strife
For I have better people in my life.
So when you split and have nowhere to turn,
You won’t have the support you didn’t earn.
